RADIOMARATHON SUPPORTS SYDNEY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
$12,000 donated to assist Tumbatin Clinic
The Sydney’s Children Hospital at Randwick received a generous donation of $12,000 from Radiomarathon. The funds will be directed to the Behavioural Sleep Clinic at the Hospital’s Tumbatin Clinic.
Tumbatin Clinic provides diagnostic and assessment services, counselling and support for families of children with developmental delay. The Clinic also offers consultation and advice on management of specific problems associated with developmental disabilities including health and behaviour problems.
Kate Garrard, Sponsor Partnerships Manager of the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation thanked Radiomarathon, “on behalf of the patients, their families and staff at Sydney Children’s Hospital, I would like to thank Radiomarathon for its valuable support. This generous donation will assist us in ensuring the Hospital remains one of Australia’s leading paediatric institution”.
Radiomarathon Australia is dedicated to the education, treatment and support of children with physical and mental disabilities. Sydney’s Children Hospital is just one of the several organisations supported by Radiomarathon. Some of the other organisations in NSW that have received support from Radiomarathon in 2008 are: George Kranitis Juvenile Arthritis/ Uveitis Research Fund, Recreation, Sports and Aquatics Club and Diabetes prevention research Centre.
